Reflection is an important part of our role as educators. Constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enable students to make connections in their learning and construct meaning through the learning engagements we design to deepen the students’ understanding of important concepts and skills.
One part of the reflection process that often gets limited consideration, or cast aside completely, is that of involving the students. Giving them a voice to freely voice their opinions. We, as teachers, need to listen to their feedback and take it on board.
