Encouraging a Maker Mindset in the Early Years

Today, I presented at the 21st Century Learning International Maker and STEAM Spaces Symposium. The focus of my presentation: Encouraging a Maker Mindset in the Early Years. As Digital Learning Coach at the American International School of Bucharest (AISB), my role is multifaceted: coaching and technology integration across two sections of the school, Makerspace (Elementary), and more! Further to an earlier post on ‘Tinker Tubs’, my presentation was designed to explain in more detail the process – the why, the how, and the what.
Caveat – I am not promoting myself as an expert in maker education or the Early Years. I know there are people who know much, MUCH, more than me (especially the incredible ELC team I work with!). I am simply committed to providing the very best learning experiences I can for our students.
